True patriot love in all of us command.

I am still trying to collect my feelings and put them into words but this is real. Dear Canada: Thank you for taking a chance on this guy who dreamed of a place to call home after losing the one he was born in. Thank you for the genuine feeling of what home looks like and how home - even in the middle of a snowy January- can be the warmest place on this entire planet. (not lying, eh!) Home now looks amazing. Life is different when you belong. Yesterday, with pride in the heart and tears in the eyes, I officially joined the nation of peace, kindness and compassion. I proudly swore that “I will faithfully observe the laws of Canada and fulfill my duties as a Canadian citizen.”‬ And the journey is just starting.. O Canada!
