PEACE BY CHOCOLATE BOOK IS RELEASED

This is exciting! Today, a book documenting our journey is officially released in bookstores across Canada and also is available online. All the stories, all the people, all the times, all the hopes, all the dreams, and all the ups and downs.

This book is written by the incredible author and CBC journalist, my friend Jon Tattrie and published by Goose Lane.

When we came to Canada a few years ago, we had a dream and mission. A dream to rebuild our lives and a mission to share our story.

While there is so much hate, anxiety, and pessimism in the world right now, we hope this book will inspire and lift others, bring communities together with kindness and compassion, and show the best of humanity in the most needed times during crises. It’s so relevant with what the world is living through these days

The book is a documentation of our family story from Damascus, Syria, to Lebanon to Canada.

There are 2 major events to launch it later this month: one in Antigonish and one in Halifax. I will share the details of the events in a separate post.
