Truro Parks, Recreation and Culture is hosting the community’s Ninth Annual Easter Egg Hunt. The fun is set for Saturday, March 24, 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Victoria Park.
This year the town is partnering with Peace by Chocolate and participating children will receive a Peace by Chocolate Easter egg.

Next year, they intend to expand nationally and into the U.S. All of this comes less than 18 months after the Syrian chocolatiers began operating in Canada.

Sobeys stores in Newfoundland will begin receiving the boxes on Dec. 4. Sobeys offers mixed boxes of either 10 or 15 chocolates.
